Carbonation Process on Carpets..

Try this, pour some soda in a beaker or a wide glass and put some raisins into it and watch what happens.. Immediately you will see the raisins are pushed on top by the bubbles arising from the bottom. The bubbles or froth forming process is called "carbonation process".

This is a simple lab procedure which is applied in carpet cleaning and works perfectly!

Want to know how and why?

Well, in the first place, you don’t need soapy liquid to wash the carpet. Also, with soap you require a lot of water to rinse off the soap which in turn increases the time required for drying. However, the carbonation process needs very little water.

Here, first the carpet is sprayed with our patent spot remover product and then the carbonation process works its magic, pushing the dust and other stubborn particles on top and out of the carpet.

The process follows a simple W.A.T.C.H. process i.e.
W=Water
A=Agitation
T= Time
C= Chemicals
H= Heat

Water: Without water it is impossible to get the carpet clean, but the amount of water used is adequate and not too much nor too less.

Agitation: Without agitation it’s difficult to get off stubborn stains. One of the best examples could be 'you cant clean dishes without scrubbing'.

Time: The carpet needs to soak a bit after water is sprayed over it. SO time factor is important to let it soak appropriately.

Chemicals: Classique ChemDry uses eco friendly products to do cleaning; now the advantage of this is that it gentler on the carpet and the inhabitants too.

Heat: Heat is necessary to get out all stains; heat breaks difficult stain bonds which normally don’t break in normal water.

Try Classique ChemDry’s unique carbonation cleaning process to clean your carpet in the best possible way. Your carpets will not only be brighter but will also smell fresher and your home will be much more healthier than before. Schedule a professional cleaning today.

Some feedback we got from a nasty mould job recently..

Hi Bryan,

Andrew and I would like to thank you, your wife Chris and your team for all the hard work you did on our insurance claim this year. Your team showed themselves to be very professional and without your help we would hate to think what state we would be in.

Bryan with your advanced knowledge of mould and water damage to homes we are extremely grateful as we were unaware of the dangers we were living with.

We can’t thank you enough for all your hard work, as you ran this claim faultlessly, always willing to take my phone calls and answer my questions at any time, which was very comforting when the situation we were in was so extremely stressful.

We are gradually getting through the boxes now that most of the building works are completed. Will let you know when we have finished and hopefully catch up for a couple of well deserved cold ones.

Kindest regards,

Rochelle and Andrew McMahon

What’s your stain?? – I (Carpet stains at work)

Having trouble with stains on carpets? Here are some quick & easy home remedies that you could use to get rid of these stubborn & nasty stains. We have put together a list of some common stains with a preferred & easy method of cleaning the same. Browse through to find which is your stain!

Correction fluid and white out
Attempt rubbing alcohol on the stained/affected area. Do a test on a part of the carpet in a non-noticeable area prior to using rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth. The stain will start to loosen. Verify by touching the stain. Minor specks of the white out ought to start to come loose. Rinse thoroughly & vacuum once the area is dry.

Ink
Remove surplus ink by blotting with a clean absorbent towel. Dab/blot gently with cool water. Blot a few times. Apply diluted carpet shampoo (i.e. 1 part carpet shampoo to 4 parts water) with a brush or towel. Let the treated area dry completely, vacuum the area.

                                                         Tea

With the help of clean white paper towels, blot up as much of the tea stain as possible. Utilize plain water or combine/mix 1 tbsp of liquid dishwashing detergent and 1 tbsp of white vinegar with 2 cups of warm water. By means of a clean white cloth, dab the stain with a small measure of water or the detergent/vinegar solution. Apply a little bit at a time, blotting repeatedly with a dry cloth until the stain fades off completely. If you intend using a detergent/vinegar solution, dab with cold water and blot dry to take out the solution.

Coffee
- Blot the stain with a white paper towel to get rid of as much of the coffee stain as possible. Next prepare a white vinegar solution i.e. 1/3 cup white vinegar in 2/3 cup water. Using a spray bottle, saturate the spot with the white vinegar solution and blot to remove the surplus moisture.
- Apply a minute amount of detergent solution to the spot i.e. 1/4 tsp of hand dishwashing detergent (containing lanolin or bleach) with 1/4 of water. Use a blotting motion to work the detergent into the affected area until stain is removed.
- Spray down the area with tap water and blot to remove surplus dampness.
- Spray lightly with water, do not smudge or dab this time; apply a pad of the paper towel. Allow to dry.
- If the stain still remains, then moisten the tufts in the stained area with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Let rest for 1 hour. Dab and repeat until carpet is stain free. No rinsing is necessary. Apply a pad of paper towels and weight down with brick.

Felt tip marker
- Combine 1 tbsp of liquid dishwashing detergent and 1 tbsp of white vinegar with 2 cups of warm water.
- By means of a clean white cloth, dab the stain with the detergent/vinegar solution; blotting repeatedly with a dry cloth until the stain vanishes. Rinse with clear water.
- If the stain still remains, dab the stain with rubbing alcohol. Blot to remove the stain.
- Wash out with alcohol; let it air-dry.
- Dab/sponge with cold water again. Blot till the liquid solution is absorbed.
- If the stain remains, mix 1 tsp of liquid dishwashing detergent and 1 tbsp of ammonia with 2 cups of warm water. Dab/sponge the stain with this solution. Leave the solution on the stain for at least 30 minutes, blotting every 5 minutes with a clean white cloth and more solution. Get rid of Pet Urine odour

Who doesn’t love pets? Almost everyone does. We often tend to treat our pets with overtly compassion and sometimes even make them feel Kingly giving them our Sofas, Carpets and Rugs as a royal chair or divan to make them feel as comfortable as they possibly can.

Well there is nothing wrong with affection being shown towards a pet but there are some cons to it... You often might find urine stains and bad odour exhibited from your expensive sofa’s and carpets. To clean the bad odour and stains could be quite a weighing task, and if not treated properly may leave a permanent stain or spot which would mar the look of your room.
So what do we do? Call up for a professional help?
Yes definitely! You might think that Professional Carpet Cleaners charge too much and that you could do it on your own and save money. But no! Avoid this at all cost, it is much simpler to make mistakes as a novice, and mistakes in carpet cleaning can cost a lot more money than an original professional carpet cleaning job would ever have.

So where do you go?
At Classique Chem-Dry, we have the ability to find odour causing spots around your home and remove them. First, our Classique Chem-Dry technician will use a black light to identify stained areas, helping him/her to evaluate the size and scope of the odor-causing stain. Then, the technician will apply Pet Urine Removal Treatment to rid your home of the nasty odors that can permeate the house from these spots. Your house will smell fresh and the spot will be minimized.
